About the Network

Greetings Interested Visitors!

Doc Oz here to answer your question, “So what is My Remote Radio?” Well honestly it’s pretty simple. So simple in fact that it’s kind of a stretch to even write up an “About” page.

It’s just a place where our little group of friends (Doc Oz, One-Sheet, Boats ‘n Hoes, Junk, & Fat Guy) can all share and talk about the random things that we want to share with other like minded geeks on the Internet like yourself.

Movies, comics, toys, tv shows, comic-cons, holidays we’re too grown up for, video games…a whole bunch of stuff.

But reading is over rated so we’re not just a blog, we’re also a Podcast network!! We have a whole bunch of great shows on the schedule including…

MRR (aka My Remote Radio)

I know, it’s a bit confusing. A podcast called My Remote Radio on a site called My Remote Radio with other podcasts on it with different names. What can I say, the site has really evolved over the past few years!

And so has the MRR podcast. This show talks about the events and posts put up on the site, and sometimes…just sometimes…even features interviews and special guest hosts!

So basically if you want to know what’s going on in, or around, the site then check out our flag ship podcast!

Podocalypse

This is a weekly show with best friends, and recovering Juggalos, Junk & Fat Guy. If MRR is rated PG-13, think of this podcast as a hard R. And in the best way possible!

They also have frequent guest hosts, and they take questions weekly that are posted to our MRR facebook fan page as well. So if you have something to ask…ask!

(R)eally (P)hucking (G)reat Podcast

A brand-new podcast featuring a rotating group of hosts, this RPG centric podcast makes you a fly on the wall of an awesome gaming session each episode! Boardgames, pen and paper RPGs, you name it…we play it. And drink while doing so.

JunkCast

This is one of our favorites on the network. Why? Well because it’s an hour filled with Junk doing what he does best. Talk about movies he’s liked/hated while fueled drinking Dr. Pepper!

Why he’s not sponsored by Dr. Pepper, I’ll have no idea. That boy’s blood has to be carbonated by now.

Each season’s format is different as well, so you never know what you’re going to be hearing next. It’s great, and you should be listening right now.

Literary Wasteland

One-Sheet is the host of this book centric podcast, and since he’s an aspiring author himself, why don’t I just let him tell you what this podcast is all about? “The journey of one man exploring the sometimes horrendous depths of the rabbit hole that is the american novel.” There ya go.
